Lemuel Linton was born in 1785, in Beaufort, North Carolina and died about 1838 in Pasquotank, North Carolina. His father was Luke Linton, Jr. (1760-1834) and his mother was Easter Pierce (1765-1834). Lemuel Linton married Mary Saunders about 1817, and had 7 children, one of whom is Reverend John Williams Linton, the direct descendent in The Pirate's lineage.
